About

The name of this blog comes from the song “Wonderwall” by Oasis, and the tagline comes from an article written about Fernando Alonso’s triumphant and spectacular win from 11th on the grid at the 2012 European Grand Prix in Valencia, Spain.

This particular song reminds me of both the best time and best trip of my life, and the turning point where I was able to fall in love, learn about myself, and change my outlook on the world at large. It’s important to remember that even though that was so many years ago, those feelings and lessons are only a memory away, and they still shape my outlook on my day-to-day life.

I try to travel, appreciate my surroundings, and learn something new at every opportunity, whether it’s while I’m racing cars, going for a run, or just having a coffee with an old friend. This blog is a mix of thoughts, lessons, and experiences that have helped me shape who I am.

Life has unexpected twists and turns, but the only thing you can do is follow your heart and push yourself to the edge of greatness…and if you think you’ve lost your way, sometimes you just have to keep driving.

I hope you enjoy reading this blog – it might get a little crazy at times, but that’s what adds spice to life 🙂

This song not only defines part of my grade school days, but reminds me of the best trip of my life 🙂

The following your heart thing is only something I recently discovered. The only way to live life is to live by the way you TRULY believe for better or for worse.
